1) Bring airfreshner and disposable gloves!
2) When kids have a choice between cereal and cereal for breakfast they choose cereal!!!
3) Reserve your RV parking spots at least a month in advance, if not sooner.
4) Because you didn't reserve an RV spot embrace parking and sleeping at the highway rest stop with the truckers.
5) Sometimes you have to go East when you want to go West or North when you want to go South. Don't argue with your co-pilot just go with the flow.
6) Bring an old fashioned paper map...your cell phone will die and your navigation system will go bonkers when out of cell phone range! Trust me!
7) You can spend hours planning for the next day...but probably a waste of time. Nothing goes as planned. Embrace it!
8) No one in your family cares what you want to do or what sites you want to see. Driver has complete control. If you remember that you won't get angry. Just do what they want and go where they want and enjoy their pleasure.
9) Pay off credit cards before you leave home or bring loads of cash!!
10) Kids will never say how much fun they are having, but know they are bragging to their friends on Instagram!
